In 2002, Harrogate, England, David Pring, CEO, decided he was to start an IT consultancy firm to provide IT transformation and bespoke IT solutions for businesses of all shapes and sizes. The initial success saw the consulting services expand.
With the focus of the business shifting to IT solutions, in 2005 Azolve opened an office in Bangladesh to benefit from the skills and expertise available there. It wasn’t long before we had a very skilful and growing team many of who still work for us today.
In 2012, we signed a deal with SportScotland to become the preferred supplier for membership management software in Scotland. This lead to us moving our Headquarters to Glasgow to better serve our growing community.
In 2016, following the success of the SportScotland partnership, we launched GoMembership. At that time, a core CRM solution formed the basis of the platform but with a very custom approach to project delivery we were able to quickly satisfy our customers’ individual needs.
We were seeing a lot of success with this approach and started to hit some major milestones, quickly seeing 250,000 members go through the system, then 500,000 and even reaching our first million members on the GoMembership platform within just 2 years of the GoMembership launch.
Following the significant growth of the company throughout the world we opened a new headquarters in Amsterdam in 2018 to help with the global expansion. This would prove to be a decision that helped to shape the future of the company.
Very quickly after moving to Amsterdam we decided on a new company structure and direction. We introduced a new vision and mission, spent a lot of time on our new strategy and even came up with the concept for a new brand. This saw us reroute our ambitions to fully address the Software as a Service (SaaS) market to become a fully self-configurable platform instead of a custom solution built bespoke for individual customers. A long journey but one that our community of customers have worked with us on!
With this new approach to configuration over customisation we were able to introduce a new player into the game with Club+. This was the start of our multi-tiered solution offering clubs and regions almost all the same capability as the national associations we had on board. One solution for all!
The new approach and enhanced software quickly bore fruit as we started to see more interest coming from Australia, Canada and the United States. A very successful relationship with Paddle Australia and the Gliding Federation of Australia saw our reputation in Australia rise.
The brand that we had created almost 2 years back was now ready to be launched! JustGo will take us to the next level in our company’s exciting journey. We are now so much more than just membership and JustGo will provide the platform to push on and continue enhancing of our product and services to reach wider parts of the globe, but still to offer that personal touch to our community.
